# Some railway crossings in Kharkiv region to become unregulated

From 28 October, a number of railway crossings in the Kharkiv region will switch to operation without an attendant. The decision was made by the management of Ukrzaliznytsia due to the security situation caused by intensified hostilities in the region and systematic shelling of railway infrastructure. 

According to KHARKIV Today, even crossings in calmer, non-frontline communities, such as Blyzniuky, will become unregulated. These include crossings on the Lozova–Blyzniuky and Blyzniuky–Dubove sections and at Blyzniuky and Dubove stations. 

Special warning notices will be installed at these crossings. Drivers are asked to be as attentive and careful as possible and to make sure no train is approaching before crossing the tracks.
