# First shelter in recreation area being installed in Kharkiv's Central Park

Installation of a reinforced concrete modular shelter has begun in Kharkiv's Central Park. It is being mounted behind the American Slides, next to the inclusive children's playground. 

The shelter is designed to accommodate up to 50 people at a time. Inside, seating will be arranged and space will be provided for people who use wheelchairs. A first-aid kit and a fire extinguisher will also be available. According to park representatives, the structure is fully certified to protect against explosions and debris. 

The structure is made of prefabricated block modules on a constructor principle. Work in and around the shelter is ongoing.
