In Kharkiv, on Animal Protection Day, shelters will seek new families for dogs and cats affected by the war. Two rehabilitation centers will hold open days this weekend.

On October 3, a special event will take place at the "Little Prince" shelter. Visitors can meet cats from Kramatorsk and choose a pet to take home. The event starts at 13:00 at 7 O. Olesia St. (near Botanichnyi Sad metro station).

On October 4, dogs from the rehabilitation center will be available for adoption. Visitors can take a dog home, walk, brush, or build a doghouse with volunteers. The open day starts at 10:30, pre-registration is required. The location will be provided personally.
