M-03 highway repair nears completion in Kharkiv region

Near Valky, repairs are nearing completion on the international M-03 highway Kyiv — Kharkiv — Dovzhanskyi. This was reported by the Service for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure in Kharkiv region.

On this section, constant traffic deformed the road surface and created ruts. Road workers have already removed the damaged layer, reinforced the base with a crushed stone-sand mixture with cement, and laid the lower asphalt concrete layer. The next stage is laying the upper layer of stone mastic asphalt.

The work is entering its final stage within available funding under the Ukraine Facility program. The agency notes that M-03 is one of the key routes connecting Kharkiv region with other regions.
