Architectural monument put up for sale in central Kharkiv

An architectural monument in central Kharkiv has been put up for sale — the Zubovsky estate at 25 Darwin Street. A sale listing appeared on the social media of a real estate agency.

The building has a total area of 1000 sq. meters and includes two floors, a basement, and a terrace. It is at the reconstruction stage, with open-plan interior spaces. The property is positioned as suitable for office premises. Some windows from the inner courtyard are broken and covered with OSB. Judging by the video, no one lives in the building. The owner — a legal company — plans to get 2 million dollars for it.

The building at 25 Darwin Street is one of the oldest in Kharkiv. It was built in 1887 according to the design of architect Andriy Thomson. It is a local architectural monument, protection number 63-101-2056.
