Kharkiv changes electric transport routes after attack
In Kharkiv, temporary changes in the operation of ground electric transport occurred due to power supply disruptions. According to the Kharkiv City Council, as of 8 a.m., most trams and trolleybuses have resumed operation.
Some routes are running on modified schemes. Tram No. 20 goes from Kharkiv-Pasazhyrskyi railway station to Yevropeiska Street. Trolleybuses: No. 2 — from Zhukovskoho Avenue to Maidan Konstytutsii; No. 12 — from Rudyka Street to Central Park; No. 40 — from Central Park to Maidan Konstytutsii.
While tram service is suspended, a temporary bus runs along Klochkivska Street and Peremohy Avenue — from Yevropeiska Street to the "Peremohy Avenue" turning loop. Kharkivoblenergo reported that the disruptions resulted from a russian attack on Ukraine's unified energy system facilities. Additional restrictions have been lifted; hourly outage schedules will be in effect during the day. Residents were urged to use electricity sparingly.
