Museum of Nature in Kharkiv prepares new exhibitions
The Museum of Nature of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University is preparing to open new exhibitions. In particular, a hall of amphibians and reptiles, as well as a separate meteorite exhibition, will soon be presented.
This was reported by leading researcher Oleksandr Zinenko. According to him, re-exposition work is ongoing, and scientists are now nearing completion of the amphibians and reptiles hall. In parallel, geological departments are being prepared for opening; their premises were damaged by Russian shelling. All funds and exhibits were fully preserved.
The exposition is also being supplemented with new stuffed animals — specialists have almost finished work on a crocodile and a rare peacock subspecies. The museum notes that visitor flow remains stable and that it has prepared for possible winter power outages.
