Terekhov: energy island for all of Kharkiv impossible

Kharkiv is preparing for the new heating season. Mayor Ihor Terekhov said on a national telethon that creating an energy island for the entire city is impossible.

According to him, energy islands are being built in several districts, and they helped the city get through the previous heating season. Terekhov called this work very complex and long-term.

He also noted that the city continues to develop this area: block-modular boiler houses and cogeneration equipment are being installed. For visitors, this means winter preparations are ongoing, but energy supply covers only certain districts.
