Kharkiv to reduce power cuts in buildings without heating

In Kharkiv, scheduled power outages will be reduced in areas without heating and hot water. This was announced on a telethon by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

According to him, the city has asked energy workers to balance the system so that where there is no heat and hot water, there is as much energy supply as possible. The heating season in Kharkiv began back in October, and as of early November, heat was supplied to 90% of buildings.

At the same time, after a massive shelling on November 3, heating and hot water were cut off. Partial restoration of heat supply has already been achieved for some areas of the city. Currently, across Ukraine there are problems with electricity generation due to massive strikes on critical infrastructure, and Ukrenergo has introduced power outage schedules.
