Industrialnyi District, Kharkiv: apartments by the day
Industrialnyi District (around 33 km²) is an industrial area of Kharkiv. It is home to the Kharkiv Tractor Plant (KhTZ) with its Palace of Culture and stadium, Elektrovazhmash, the Dzherelo Palace of Schoolchildren and Youth, the Zmina Palace of Sports, the Skhid Stadium, and the Zelena Roshcha and Mayakovsky parks. The district also contains Aviamistechko, built in 1932–1934, and the Medical Town. Until 2016, the district was called Ordzhonikidzevskyi.
The district is served by the metro stations "Traktornyi Zavod" and "Industrialna" — the terminus of the red line.
