"Akademika Pavlova" is a station on the blue (Saltivska) line, between "Studentska" and "Akademika Barabashova" stations, opened on 24 October 1986. Its exits lead to Akademika Pavlova, Vasylia Stusa and Metlynskoho streets. Next to it is the "Saltivske" electric depot.
The mosaic compositions on the walls are dedicated to the scientific discoveries of Academician I. P. Pavlov — physiology, biochemistry and psychology; a bust of the academician is installed in the northern vestibule. Trams 16, 16a and 27 and buses 207E, 240E and 271E run nearby. Apartments here are in the residential part of Saltivka, with a direct metro route to the centre.
