"Metrobudivnykiv" is the terminus of the green (Oleksiivska) line after "Zakhysnykiv Ukrainy" station, opened on 6 May 1995. From 2000 to 2016 it bore the name of H. I. Vashchenko, and on 17 May 2016 it was returned to its original name.
An underground passage connects the station to "Sportyvna" station on the red line. Exits lead onto Heorhiia Tarasenka and Dmytra Kotsiubaila streets, with trams 5 and 8 running nearby. Apartments near the station will suit those who transfer between the green and red metro lines.
