Kholodna Hora is a historic neighbourhood in Kholodnohirskyi District. Its name is linked either to the cold winds on the hill or to a Cossack nicknamed Kholod. To the west, the Zaliutynskyi ravine separates it from Zaliutyne; to the south runs Poltavskyi Shliakh; to the north lies Lysa Hora; and to the east the slopes descend toward the "Kharkiv-Pasazhyrskyi" and "Kharkiv-Sortuvalnyi" railway stations.
The main streets are Kholodnohirska, Ozerianska and Poltavskyi Shliakh. Here you will find the Ozerianskyi and Vvedenskyi churches, Yunist Park, Kholodnohirskyi public garden, Children's Clinical Hospital No. 19, the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital and the Kholodnohirskyi water reservoir, built together with the city water supply in 1881. Nearby are the "Kholodna Hora" metro station, a bus station, tram 3 and trolleybus 27.
