Nova Bavaria, Kharkiv: apartments by the day
Nova Bavaria is a neighbourhood in the Novobavarskyi District. Its name comes from the brewery built near the railway station in the 19th century by a German entrepreneur from Bavaria; later the settlement took on the same name. The main streets are Novo-Bavarskyi Avenue, Kitaievka, Tymiriazieva and Darhomyzhskoho.
This is where you'll find the Kharkiv Rope Works, the fat-processing plant, the lifting and transport equipment plant, the "Nova Bavaria" brewery and a bakery; there's also the Novo-Bavarskyi public garden. Trolleybuses 11 and 27 and buses run here, and the "Nova Bavaria" railway station and the "Khvylynka" and "Lypovyi Hai" stops are in operation.
