The Rohan residential area is in Industrialnyi District, on the site of the former Rohan airfield, where after the war the Hrytsevets Kharkiv Military School of Pilots was located (closed in 1972). The area includes the microdistricts of Pivdenni Piatykhatky (759 and 759A), Soniachnyi (761) and Obrii.
The construction of Pivdenni Piatykhatky began in 1984, and of Obrii in 1990. Nearby is the Traktorozavodskyi industrial area; most residents are connected with its enterprises. The area is linked to other parts of the city by trolleybuses 45, 46, 51, 52, 53 and 59. The apartments will suit those who come on business to KhTZ and neighbouring enterprises.
