Akademika Barabashova metro station: apartments by the hour
"Akademika Barabashova" is a station on the blue (Saltivska) line, between "Kyivska" and "Akademika Pavlova" stations, opened on 11 August 1984; until 23 October 1986 it was a terminus. Until 19 November 2003 it was called "Barabashova". It is named after N. P. Barabashov.
The escalator leads out onto Akademika Pavlova Street and Yuvileinyi Avenue, towards the Barabashovo market — the largest market in the city. Trams 16, 16a and 27, trolleybus 24 and numerous bus routes stop nearby. Apartments near the station are convenient for those who come to the market or travel around Saltivka.
