Derzhprom metro station: apartments by the hour
"Derzhprom" is a station on the green (Oleksiivska) line between the "Naukova" and "Arkhitektora Beketova" stations, opened on 6 May 1995. It is located beneath Freedom Square; the only exit leads to the square, to the trolleybus and bus stop.
Nearby are the State Industry Building (Derzhprom) — one of the most famous architectural monuments of the first half of the 20th century and a symbol of Kharkiv, Shevchenko Garden, and the Northern Building of Karazin University. From the eastern end, an underground passage leads to the "Universytet" station on the blue line. Tram 12, trolleybuses 2 and 18, and buses run nearby. Apartments here are in the very centre of the city.
